The purpose of the spring is to provide enough return force to overcome friction. This return force ensures consistency during the rest/retraction steps of the programs.
1. Attach the end of the spring to the wood of the cervical cushion using the spacer and screw.
2. The second screw secures the other end of the spring 3 3/8 inch (86mm) distance from the first screw.
3. Add the second spring alongside the frame on the other side of the table.
