Adjustment of the Repex table variable speed control unit is as follows.
- Locate the variable speed control unit (VSC) which is located on top of the main control box inside the table on the front left side. It is necessary to remove the left side plastic base enclosure to gain access.
- Looking at the VSC, you will see 6 small adjusting pots along the top most edge of the unit (see below). These pots can be adjusted with a small jewelers screw driver or similar object. The pots are labeled as follows · from left to right, 1/R comp, Torque, Max. speed, Min. speed, Acee!, Deccel.
- The 1/R comp, Min. speed, Acee!, and Deccel adjusting pots should be turned fully counter clockwise.
- The Torque adjusting pot should be turned fully clockwise.
- Turn the table power switch on and follow the steps on the control hand set to get the table to any set of trea tment positions . Before proceeding with any further adjustments note: Any or all wires and electrical connections inside the table may be energized with electricity when the power switch is turned on! Be careful when making adjustments. If you are not sure of what to do, please consult a qualified service person or electrician first.
- Adjust the Maximum speed. Push the start button on the hand set, the· table should begin to run. Make sure the master speed control knob on the outside of the base enclosure is still in its maximum setting. Using a stop watch, adjust the Max. speed pot until the table completes one full cycle of up and down motion in 6 seconds.
- Test the tables operation with a person on it as a final verification that the cycle speed and other adjustments are correct.
