How to By-pass the Circuit Board Temporarily:
The following steps can be used to remove a board from the circuit and verify that all other components in the circuit are functional.
Follow these steps:
1. Take red from T5 on board and connect to capacitor post that has black and red wires.
2. Take white from T6 on the board and connect to capacitor post that has white and red wires.
3. Both black wires, from T2 and T7 on board, need to be joined together. Both have female connectors so a jumper with a male at both ends needs to be used or the connectors cut off and wires joined with another style connector. Both need females again if they will be connected to a board.
4. Disconnect the red and white limit switch wires from the capacitor.
CAUTION: The motor will not stop at limit switches. When direction changes the B-1 bushings could catch on the switch and damage it. Bend the rollers on the two limit switches up slightly, away from the chrome rods. Bend them down when new board is installed.
