1. Using the pedal, bring the cushion to the almost vertical standup position.
2. Unplug the table.
3. Remove the skirt ("A") by removing the screws that secure it to the base.
- do not unplug the motor wires yet-
4. Take note that the smaller horizontal tube at "B" is toward the foot end of the table. Remove the 1/2" diameter rod at location "B" which attaches the top frame to the actuator. The rod is held in place by a small set screw. Allow the top frame to swing up and out of your way.
5. Remove the bolt at location "C" that attaches the actuator to the base. The motor wires are still connected to the table.
6. If the table was built before February 2004 you will need to heat the actuator adapter to soften the adhesive on the threads between the actuator and the long round tube.
Tables after February 2004 have a small set screw to secure the tube on the threads. 7. Unthread the original actuator from the adapter tube & thread on the new actuator.
8. Place the new actuator next to the mount location and switch the wires, one color at a time from the new actuator to where the original was connected.
