PARTS:
Transformer (115 or 230V)
Relay, Single Pole (H486 socket, H481 ice cube) Screws, self-tapping #6 x 7/16" (H482)
Wire, red/black 55 inches Wire, black/yellow 12 inches Wire, white splitter 3 inches
Screws, sheet metal #8 x 1 1/4" long (H1455)
(Wires from two tape switches)

- Use the foot pedal to elevate the table.
- Remove the screws securing the inner plastic skirt to the base.
- Drill a 5/8" hole in the metal strip at the head end about four inches from where the power cord enters.
- Stand at the head end of the table and lift it until the table stands resting on the foot cushion.
- Mount the transformer on the inside of the base and to the right side of the height actuator. It is secured with the self-tapping screws, enclosed.

TAPE SWITCHES:
6. Remove the gray wire(s) of the tape switch from the #7 terminal of the relay and insert them through the hole that was drilled in Step3.
7. The wire from the tape switch with the yellow connector joins with the blue wire from the transformer.
8. Connect the gray wires that were inserted through the base in Step 6 and connect to terminal 7 of the relay again.
9. Locate the main wire harness already in the base. Find the Black with yellow wire in the harness, near the capacitor. Cut it, strip the two ends, and crimp them together in the yellow connector that is provided. Connect this connector to the BLACK/yellow from the relay.
10. Locate the white wire from the power cord. Cut it, strip the two ends, and crimp them together in the other yellow connector provided. Plug this connector into the white wire from the transformer.
11. Route the new RED/black wire with the original wire harness up the scissor to the relay on the scissor. Secure it to terminal #13. Remove the red wire from #13 and "tape off" the uninsulated end of it.
12. Find the red wire from the harness to the selector switch and separate the connectors. Use electrical tape to cover the open end of the connector that entered the box from the harness. Cut the crimp connector off the short red wire still connected to the selector switch, strip the end, and secure it to the same terminal as the black/yellow.
