Decompression - Replace Actuator Belt:
TOOLS NEEDED: Phillips screwsdriver, #2 Wrench, 8mm, Part: M5 nut, w/nylon
- Remove the plastic cover under the foot cushion to access the distraction actuator. The cervical actuator can be accessed by removing only the end plastic panel at the head end of the table. The actuator should be serviced while still mounted on the table.
2. Use the screwdriver to remove the 6 screws that secure the steel cover on the end of the actuator.
3. Place a drop of blue thread locker on threads of the M5 nut. Thread the nut on enough to secure the pulley. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
4. Replace the covers from step 2 and step 1.
