Turn the tension knob to remove all tension on the pelvic drop.
Grasp the bottom of the pelvic drop pin as shown in the picture and rotate it so that the roll pin at the top is no longer in the long retainer bracket on the cushion.
The front end of the pelvic cushion can be raised so that you can see the area of the assembly shown in the picture. The center pin should be pointing in the direction shown in the picture when the black metal handle is pointing straight down at the floor.
