Use the height pedal to elevate the table as much as possible. UNPLUG the table.
Remove the screws that secure the plastic enclosure to the steel base. You will find them at both ends and on the sides of the enclosure. Hold the enclosure up with tape or string.
The actuator is located at the head end of the base. Check to make sure that all the wire connections in the area shown are secure. On some bases, if one of the wires to the capacitor is not secure, the motor will hum.
